After reading between the lines in Sua's interview it seems like Sark just relying on them being emotionally pumped each game and wasn't teaching how to be physical. Teaching in the form of physical practices and repetition.
I swear if Nick Saban had this team we would be the Stanford of the PAC12 in terms of run blocking and run defense. The pieces are there. It's just fundamentals, and practicing physicality in practice. Then it translates in games.
