You know, one thing good about hiring Helton as HC (not endorsement, an observation)...USC would have more control over assistant coach retention and termination (I would think). A new coach would most likely wipe the entire staff out, which is good and / or bad depending on your point of view. Though I'd love to see a "HR" hire, I'd hate to see Tee go. Some of you may hope to keep Helton and / or Wilson. Anyway, not hiring Helton removes the chance that any return in C&G. That said, for the record, I am hoping for the "HR" hire and let the coaching chips fall where they may.
