That's the sound of the baseball team this year. Not sure if I'm the only one still paying attention but the season has been a total fail so far. The team had a top 10 ranking preseason, Hubbs stated the goal wasn't just to make it to the regional this year but host it and about midway through and they are 2 games under .500. They've lost way too many series to make the college World Series again this year unless they make a run. And Saturday they blew a 8-2 lead to lose 11-8. Horrible to watch. They lost the series to a pedestrian Stanford team. In case you can't tell I'm very disappointed. Was hoping Hubbs was the real deal and had them going in the right direction. Not so sure now.
I expressed concern when they blew the first series right out of the gate against some podunk team from North Nowhere. Looks like that was a sign of things to come. Argh.
