Just posted a message for UM fans on the main board asking if the heat has been turned up on Drevno after the SCar loss.
He hasn’t done great as an OC for them and maybe Harbaugh tosses him aside as a scapegoat in the offseason.
I know we all hate retreads and returning USC coaches here (except Clancy), but Drevno did a great job as an OL coach in 2014. He got a true freshman core of Toa, Viane, Mama, along with a Soph Wheeler to play really well. They had ups and downs but opened up some big holes for Buck Allen most of the season.
Helton’s Rolodex is limited and he probably has little else to look than coaches he has worked with before. He probably thinks highly of Drevno based on his overall body of work (USC, Stanford, SF).
If Calloway is removed, this seems like more of a real possibility.
