Trojan Talk: JuJu Watkins' star shines bright on a memorable night at Galen
A look back at the latest historic night for USC's star sophomore in the Trojans' win over their rival on Thursday night
Thursday night's WBB game at Galen Center delivered in every way. The crowd was electric and game was what you would expect from two of the best teams in the country. Despite all the talent on the floor in the matchup, one player clearly stood out among the rest. JuJu Watkins lived up to her stardom with a stellar stat line that included 38 points and 8 blocks to go with 11 rebounds.
It was a special performance that you won't see often, and Watkins did it against the No. 1 team. I wrote about Watkins' ability to take her game to a new level with the spotlight on her Thursday night.
