Joe Biden has left his basement HQ and now is visiting areas he heretofore had not considered. Why?
Perhaps the latest guideline statement by well known pollster Nate Silver which says Trump wins the electoral vote if the popular vote difference is within 3 percent (Hillary had 2.3% more popular votes). Biden wins the electoral college if he wins the popular vote by 5 % or more.
The Presidential debate hosts have been announced: Chris Wallace (Fox news) hosts the 1st on Sept 19 . The second will be hosted by Steve Scully of C-Span. The third by Kristen Walker of NBC news. and the VP debate hosted by Susan Page of the USA Today.
The polls are now showing +- 4 plus % margin of error. Could it be due to suspected poll manipulations? At a minimum the double digit lead is single digits and closer in battleground states (latest poll in Penn shows DJT tied).
The key issues are the pandemic and its shutdowns, and law and order. The first may see one (or more) available vaccines in October (or at least results) , the latter shows no signs of diminishing in many cities.
As a result Biden who was for shutdowns now says he wouldn't keep it. Biden who was for Fracking , says he isn't. Should be interesting .
