I saw him tonight in a win over Anaheim (Calif.) Servite and he was excellent. Tremendous hands, so reliable and even though he doesn't have elite speed he can still separate, very tough to defend in one-on-one situations.
He beat Keyon Riley on a high pass in the end zone for a touchdown and on that drive he also caught a deep pass on Riley as well. Later, Vaughns scored his second TD on a 15-yard slant.
Some think Theo Howard is the best WR in the state but I still slightly prefer Vaughns because he is so consistent and has such phenomenal hands.
Sidney did not play because of a supposed knee injury. Didn't see him limping so we'll see when he returns.
