I couldn't put my finger on the problem this year until I rewatched the A State game again last night. I saw a play so disturbing I had to stop watching. It was in the first half, it was a pass by AS down the near sideline that fell incomplete. I believe it was third down. I watched the D line. I dont want to single anyone out, but this D lineman gave about a 10% effort on the play. It looked as if he could barely get up from his stance and pretty much shadowboxed with the lineman he opposed. I don't think I have ever seen such a poor effort on a play. The lineman to his left gave about a 70% effort. This my friends is coaching. If that's the effort that player should not be on the field. I know Coach O would never tolerate this.
