I’ve mentioned a couple times in recent weeks that tailback Stephen Carr has been considering a change of scenery. A source told me tonight he is “going to see what happens in the spring” at USC.
It’s good news for the Trojans, as Carr remains the best option to develop into a feature back and his pass catching skills should play well in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense. Carr will be healthy for spring practice after suffering a high ankle sprain in November and missing the final three games of the season.
The bigger question is if he’ll be all the way back from the back injury he sustained last winter.
