There's a real chance that USC's game at Oregon next Saturday won't kick off at 7:30.
The start time won't be announced until next Monday -- the televising networks have opted to use their contractual six-day selection for that day’s available games -- and will be affected by the results of the upcoming weekend.
ESPN has the first selection and can use it on USC-Oregon, Cal-Stanford or UCLA-Utah for either its 12:30, 5 or 7:30 slots. Fox has the next pick and only a 12:30 slot. ESPN then has the third selection.
This is promising for those (like me) that would like for USC to play at 5 or even 12:30. There's no way USC-Oregon falls to the third pick, assuming the Trojans beat Colorado this Friday. I'd also be surprised if ESPN uses its first selection on this game and puts it at 7:30.
