Adam Maya broke that Ajene Harris would likely miss the season because of a hip surgery he's already had and another surgery to come.
USC confirmed this to Adam a while back. Now USC is officially saying that Harris will miss the season on its blog.
From the blog:
USC sophomore wide receiver Ajene Harris is out for the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right hip. He will also have the same surgery done to his left hip in July.
Dr. Jason Snibbe, a former USC athletic department student trainer back in the early 1990s, performed the surgery.
Harris, a high school quarterback turned college receiver, made four catches for 38 yards as a freshman. He appeared in five games in his first season.
