Vandy's Derek Mason Apologizes

The same defensive coordinator that shut down Oregon's offenses at Stanford was just torched by Tom Herman's squad 34-0. He apologized publicly afterward.

Derek Mason is a fantastic defensive mind. If a guy like him can get overwhelmed by Herman's scheme it says a lot. It's time to take notice. Brian Kelly went undefeated with Cincinnati the year they fired Charlie Weis. He's not the best coach but that was home run hire by ND. Tom Herman could be our home run hire --and an even better one.
