Tee Martin visited Saraland, Ala., today while he was back home in Mobile and he checked in on commit Velus Jones. I just spoke with Jones and he said he's feeling great about his commitment. His family has had a chance to speak with Martin and they're comfortable with everything, too. He'll be returning punts this year and Martin was able to see him do some of that in practice, I believe.
Worth noting that since his commitment coaches from Alabama, LSU and Arkansas have come to the high school. Alabama's coach told Jones "they're going to be recruiting (him) hard," although in our last conversation after his commitment Jones told me that if Alabama offered he would have to turn them down. We'll see how it plays out if that comes to pass, but USC's offer and his commitment may have woken the Tide up to someone they were sleeping on in their backyard.
