What does USC's non-response to the NCAA tell you?

Before I write the words below, I want to say that I have been a loyal Trojan supporter since 1957, when at age 10 my father took me to my first USC football game. I graduated from USC with a BS in 1969. I have been a season ticket holder for many years.

So, it's with a broken heart that I write these words; I hope that some day I will retract them:

Now that the first batch of McNair emails have been released, and now that it's very clear the NCAA is corrupt and had it out for SC, I'm waiting for USC to respond.

Guess what? It is looking more and more like USC won't respond. I am truly shocked.

So? What are we to make of SC's silence, and rumors that they are not planning on responding?

I can only conclude that SC is probably more corrupt, if not far more corrupt, than the NCAA accused them of being. Yes, I can only conclude that they have much, much more to hide.

Add to that that the Pac 12's yawning response; absolutely no support or outcry. This tells me that the Pac 12 most likely knows more than what's in the news--that they know SC is probably really, really dirty.

I'm blown away by USC's non-response, and now questioning whether the Trojans are going to get my whole-hearted support in the future.

Simply stated, as of now I no longer trust USC--the university but especially the football program.

Sadly written, and hoping I'm wrong--but suspect I'm spot on until proven otherwise.
