I have not read the full emails, just what the media has (sort of) reported on, and what's been written on this board and the site. From what's being reported, it seems as if a case could be made for a conspiracy by the COI to impugn USC -- and especially McNair -- without logical evidentiary support.
Why?
For those of you who have spent time digging into the emails, is there any indication of what motivated these individuals? It's hard to believe that a disparate group of people from around the country would hold some sort of collective, shared hatred of USC -- but it clearly happened.
