It is unbelievable the ego/vanity/myopia/denial at play here. I'm thrilled we had our best semester of grades ever. That's fundamentally the most important thing. But meanwhile the university rep is taking hit after hit due to just rank and rampant incompetence.
I guess any publicity is good publicity? I don't know what else to say. The captains of the ship are going to keep hitting icebergs because they have ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY and as such the program and players and coaches have zero accountability. I don't think I've ever felt lower about the prospects of our athletic program than I do right now and that includes right after the sanctions were announced.
Is anyone else feeling just totally worn out about all this? Not in general, restricted to the hobby of USC football and fandom but in that arena I'm just getting slightly apathetic and fatigued by all this nonsense.
