This is me after spending most of the last two days in bed with a brutal cough and fever.
Have tried several times to lock in and write, but I’ve coughed so much and so intensely that my abs hurt (I didn’t know I had abs either). Took a Covid test last night — haven’t thought about one of those in a couple years — and it was negative. So I’m loaded up on DayQuill and cough drops and going to Galen in an hour or so for Bronny’s debut (Jeff is already on his way), Matt and I are reaching out to the weekend visitors (one of the transfers responded to me yesterday so I’m hopeful of connecting today) and then I’ll hopefully have several football stories for you that I wanted to write Friday and yesterday but simply couldn’t. If sleep meant not coughing my lungs out, I opted for it as much as possible. I’ll make it up to you!
