We've added some new people in this past year and a half, which is awesome. So I wanted to show a sample of the unique story-telling we do here. This is the story from my trip to Lincoln Riley's hometown in Muleshoe, Texas, two weeks or so after he was hired.

It's one of our better stories, but more great exclusive content is to come. Feature writing is intensive and takes time. One of my flaws is getting excited about a story and saying it's coming Friday! Then I get redirected by more primary responsibilities on the beat. But I do have a trove of stories reported to write over the coming months, along with fresh reporting to come.
So, no specifics this time. But without three practices a week, I expect to be reeling off stories. If you didn't read about my adventure to Muleshoe, please do. I'd personally put it up against anything written about Riley so far, and I say that only to establish the standard and bar we're chasing here always.
