USC, a football school that for decades was synonymous with tough, hard-nosed, run stopping defense, is surrendering 172 rushing yards per game! UCLA, a team coached by Chip Kelly, is giving up about 1/3 that total per game. Oregon State, a program that has a proud history of 2-9 seasons, is allowing only 2/3 that amount.
I'm sorry to belabor the point, but why, why, why does Alex Grinch still have employment with University of Southern California football!? And what does it say about Lincoln Riley that he is tolerating these kinds of results? My answer: Lincoln Riley is a cut-rate head football coach.
