Velus Jones and Amari Rodgers (2017) are expected to visit Mississippi State today for their showdown against Alabama.

The recruiting saga continues for Saraland (Ala.) wide receiver Velus Jones. The four-star 2016 recruit committed to USC in April, but TrojanSports.com was told that he was looking around at other colleges before Sarkisian was fired.
Now that Sarkisian is out at USC, Jones is as open as ever in his recruitment.
Jones visited Alabama last week and is officially visiting Mississippi State this weekend. He is set to officially visit Oklahoma next weekend and then an official to Tennessee to finish the month of November.
His relationship with USC wide receivers coach Tee Martin is what is keeping Jones a USC commit. But if Martin isn't retained, there's a very strong possibility that Jones it out.
Jones has picked up recent offers from Tennessee, N.C. State, and Michigan offered him on Thursday.
