It's a COMPLETE LIE that the $6B sent back to Iran funded this war in Israel

NSC spokesperson Adrienne Watson disputed those assertions in a social media post.

“I can’t comment on 2024 because of the Hatch Act. But I can clarify the facts: Not a single cent from these funds has been spent, and when it is spent, it can only be spent on things like food and medicine for the Iranian people,” she wrote.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates further called the allegations “a shameful lie” in a post on X.

And State Dept. spokesperson Matthew Miller also hit back, writing: “Let’s be clear: the deal to bring U.S. citizens home from Iran has nothing to do with the horrific attack on Israel. Not a penny has been spent, and when it is, it can only go for humanitarian needs like food and medicine. Anything to the contrary is false.”

Creating A Problem That Does Not Currently Exist

USC's objective is to win football games. We are 5-0. The numerous Debbie Downers on this board cannot enjoy the fact that USC is undefeated with all of their hopes and dreams fully intact because they are worried that the team is going to lose a game(s) in the future. In other words, they cannot be happy at the present time because they are worried that they might be unhappy in the future. In my opinion, it is a sad way to live one's life -- and I refuse to join the Debbie Downer Brigade.

The fact that USC chose not to run the ball against ASU in order to win by more than 14 points is not a genuine problem -- it is a difference in strategic thinking between the coaching staff and the Debbie Downer Brigade. The fact that USC took their foot off the gas when they were up by 27 in the first half against Colorado is not a genuine problem, either, because it worked out fine. (There is always a risk that the other team will "catch fire" but it is what it is. With the exception of the thugs at Oregon, no PAC-12 team deserves to have the score run up on them. It's a classless thing to do to any team.)

Biggest problem on defense.......

What I am noticing is how hesitant our our guys are from attacking the ball carrier. In yesterday's game there were countless Arizona run plays where we are just waiting at or behind the line of scrimmage and then our guys get blocked easily. I just don't see our guys playing with any sort of instinct or situational awareness. You can tell they are hesitant and overthinking things. I say to hell with all the fancy B. S. defensive Grinch schemes and just go back to the basics so our guys aren't in perpetual brainfart mode.

Confession: "Tricked" by my Untrained Eye

I confess...I thought our defense was horrid. This was based on both...watching all 6 games and reviewing national statistics.

My eyes saw defensive confusion...penalties, missed tackles, missed assignments, loose coverage in the secondary, poor linebacker play etc.

And then there are the national statistics (includes yesterday's games): National stats track 133 teams...we are:

#79 in scoring defense
#91 in rushing defense
#115 in passing defense
#112 in total defense
#107 in opponent long scrimmage plays

Sadly, or thankfully, they don't have statistics for "missed tackles".

But now I'm aware that it was our defense that won last night's game for us. Admittedly, the offense was way out of kilter last night.

Thank God we had Grinch's defense to drive us to victory over a great Arizona team.

Perhaps Grinch will earn Defensive Coordinator of the week for holding Arizona below 600 total yards and 50 points.

Hezbollah Issues Threat to Israel, US as Hamas War Escalates

By Jason Lemon On 10/08/23 at 10:38 AM EDT

The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah issued a threat to Israel and the United States on Sunday, suggesting that it could get further involved in support of Hamas as the war escalates.

Hamas, a militant Palestinian group which the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization, launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday. The violence has thus far left hundreds of Israelis and Palestinians dead, with Hamas taking a number of Israelis captive.

Israeli media reported on Sunday that the security cabinet had officially declared the country at war over night. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously said on Saturday "we are at war," and vowed Israel would "take revenge for this black day."

Hezbollah, an Iran-backed organization that the U.S. also considers a terrorist group, on Sunday launched a barrage of mortar shells into Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) then responded by shooting artillery into Lebanon. No casualties were reported on either side, according to Reuters.

Upon the ascension of Biden and his woke military agendas, we saw the following: the complete humiliation of US in Kabul 🤡 🎪 🍿

In this regard is there not a pattern here?

Upon the ascension of Biden and his woke military agendas, we saw the following: the complete humiliation of the U.S. in Kabul in its most shameful flight in 50 years and greatest abandonment of equipment in its history; followed by Vladimir Putin’s opportunistic invasion of Ukraine; followed by China’s new belligerence and escalating threats to Taiwan; followed by Turkey’s new de facto alliance with Russia and recent drone encounter with the U.S. air force in Syria; followed by the Hamas/Iranian inspired attack on Israel—with more to come unfortunately.

Taliban requests passage from Iran. “We will conquer Jerusalem

Taliban: 'We will conquer Jerusalem'

The Taliban has requested that other Arab countries give its troops passage to join the war against Israel.

Oct 8, 2023 at 11:19 AM (GMT+3)
The Express reports that the Taliban has asked other Muslim countries to grant their forces free passage to Israel.

The report claims that an appeal was sent to Iran, Iraq, and Jordan, saying that "If other countries give us passage, we will conquer Jerusalem."

The report comes after Hamas launched a surprise attack against israel, leaving 350 Israelis dead so far and more than 100 Israelis captive in the Gaza strip. The idea has reported that the fighting in Israeli territory is still ongoing, more than 24 hours later.

The Taliban has yet to be recognized by any government after it seized power following the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. Its request to join the war against Israel comes close behind a series of mortar attacks by Hezbollah, also apparently in support of the Hamas invasion.

The Horrific Attacks in Israel Are Brought to You by the Biden Administration ( 🤡 🎪 🍿)

Our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel, fell under attack in a highly planned, highly tactical assaultwhere thousands of rockets were fired into major urban areas in the Jewish state while terrorists simultaneously flooded the streets and killed civilians and soldiers alike.

Israel now finds itself in a war against inhuman actions and guerilla war crimes that have not been seen on this level in decades, with many fearing it's only going to get worse.

As of this writing, Joe Biden himself has been silent. The administration's response wasn't just utterly embarrassing, it was borderline obscene.

The U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs actually sent out a tweet calling on Israel not to respond with violence.
