Hi everyone, I sat down with Coach Clay Helton this afternoon for a 30-minute interview and am in the process of transcribing that. Will probably break it up into two parts. Should have Part I posted later tonight.

Couple of notes from our conversation that aren't part of the Q&A:
- He said he is hopeful that linebacker Scott Felix will be able to participate in spring practice. (Helton still is not able to comment any further on his situation.)
- He also confirmed offensive tackle Chad Wheeler has rejoined the team and has been involved in offseason workouts. He's good to go for spring.
- Practice is still tentatively set to begin March 8. Helton is pushing the start times back to the late afternoon (3:30ish) for spring and fall because he believes it's better to have the players going closer to the time they are playing. Also, he said it's better for their school schedule, particularly the upperclassmen. It has yet to be determined how many practices will be open to the public.
