Jaxson Jones committed to Washington back in September back when it was the only Power Five school on his offer list. Since then things have changed and he now has offers from USC, Notre Dame, Oregon and Utah among others. The 6-foot-3 edge rusher just recently wrapped up an impressive season at Yuma Catholic in Arizona, and he's sure to be one of the recruits who sees more offers come his way when all is said and done. Since two of the schools on his list played each other within driving distance, he decided to take USC's coaches up on the offer to come watch the game. He was definitely impressed with the atmosphere at the Coliseum, and the experience left a positive impression on him.

Jones says he speaks with Roy Manning twice a week and they have built a strong connection up to this point. He wants to make another trip to USC and fully plans to do so during the offseason plus he wants to see Notre Dame as well. So far his only official visit that is planned will be to Washington in the summer.

"Oh man, the Coliseum, starting out, it's crazy," he said. "It's huge, and it was packed in there. It was loud. The tradition at USC is like no other that I've seen so far. That really caught my eye. All the players, they're all bought in. Everyone is doing their thing in warmups and no one is trying to be different. Coach [Lincoln] Riley and the whole coaching staff, they've done a great job this year bringing the program where it needs to be. We were there with USC, but we were still watching Notre Dame since I have an offer from them too. We liked what we saw coming from the defensive end spots for them."
