I was only able to catch up with four-star safety DeAngelo Gibbs for a minute as he was being summoned to the team bus while we were leaving ESPN Wide World of Sports today.
Gibbs is a 2017 prospect from Peachtree Ridge HS in Suwannee, Ga. and obviously has interest in USC.
Here's what I got:
On his interest in USC
DeAngelo Gibbs: “It’s high, I love Cali, the weather, everything out there is nice, it’s just Cali, the coaches. I’ve got to go back out there again. The last time I was out there was a while ago, so I have to see how it is again.”
On why he’s interested
DG: “They have a great program and a great organization, it’s always been a top tier team, they’ve always have a great program, always a national base that they have. It’s just a great school from the bottom to the top.”
On if he will definitely visit USC again
DG: “Yeah.”
