When Clemson and Dabo would build big leads and give them up (sometimes in alarming & embarrassing fashion)….
then Dabo went out and stole away Brent Venables from OKLA to take over the D.
and they recruited the best DL in the country.
and they were the only team that could meet/beat Saban.
one of my best friends at work is a big OKLA guy….he told me simply “get used to it” with Lincoln…the offenses will dazzle & entertain and keep you in every game….the defense will drive you to drink (and falter in the big moments)….anyone who watches college football knows this….
if all we require/expect is ENTERTAINMENT, we are good….
if this is all Lincoln wants, he is good.
if you have real aspirations, you address THE PROBLEM….
