I certainly don’t want to discount the exciting moments that Caleb gave us this year. He is an exciting player and should be an excellent pro quarterback. However, I think yesterday’s game was the best 4 quarters of football we have played all year.
- While not quite a Caleb performance, Moss played great and easily beat expectations.
- OL didn’t block well for the run but provided excellent pass protection, giving up zero sacks.
- I expected Tahj to have a good game but didn’t expect the great play by young and largely unproven receivers like Lemon, Lane and others.
- Defense easily played their best game of the year, probably the biggest surprise.
- Tackling was greatly improved.
- There seemed to be much less confusion re assignments, especially for defensive backfield.
- Between defense and a Special Teams blocked punt, 3 turnovers.
