I was just told by a source that USC is expected to host defensive tackle Stevie Tu'ikolovatu on an official visit.

Tu'ikolovatu is a 25-year old gap plugger that has played in 25 games for the Utah Utes over the last two seasons. As a grad transfer, he would be eligible to play at his next school immediately.

Last season, he was listed on Utah's depth chart as the number two defensive tackle. He started in two games and played in all 13. During that time, he recorded 28 tackles (6.0 TFL, 2.0 sacks) and two pass breakups. He also compiled four fumble recoveries, which tied for the Pac-12 lead and tied for second in the nation in that category. He also a scored a 37-yard touchdown on a fumble recovery.

Utah's athletic website lists him at 6-foot-1, 320-pounds. If he did sign with USC, he should compete for immediate playing time.

He is expected to consider Alabama and Nebraska as well and has already visited the Crimson Tide. TrojanSports.com will keep you posted on any other news regarding Tu'ikolovatu.
