The Seattle Seahawks are hiring USC’s Ivan Lewis to be their strength and conditioning coach, according to sources informed of the situation. An official announcement could come as soon as Friday.
Lewis has been at USC since December of 2013 and for eight years total over two stints. He is the pupil of former USC strength coach Chris Carlisle, who was fired by the Seahawks last week.
Lewis, who has trained the likes of J.J. Watt and Russell Wilson, declined an opportunity to work for the Chicago Bears last year.
