When asked if the odds of Sam leaving early are the Sam as Green's.
"I do, I mean they are about the same. Darnold is not your typical kid and I think he does not progress from last year. He was great last year but had a TON of potential picks dropped by defenders.
I think he's great again this year but throws double the picks. He has a great year but these negative aspects in tandem with his personal interest bring him back to SC."

Darnold is not playing any different than last year. Things are just balancing out. He was not as good as many thought last year, he was very furtunate/lucky. Don't get me wrong, he's great! The best SC QB in a very long time! I'd take him in a heart beat as my starter BUT he got away with murder last year. To the critical eye he could have, should have had an additional 15 to 18 picks last year.
Over time things just gravitate to their natural order. Sam is great, he'll continue to make great plays it's just going to cost us some picks..............which is to be expected.
