I read not long ago that the team is still not tackling full speed in practice. I was a bit surprised at that. I recall that Pete Carroll played hard in practice and tackled in practices as if it was a game. I then understood that they stopped doing so during sanctions due to the lower number of players and not wanting to get any player hurt thereby diminishing the numbers on the roster. But, when are they going to go all out again in practice? If they do not practice as to how they are going to play, aren't they doing themselves a disservice? How do you learn to go full out so you can do so in a game? How do you learn how to tackle (wrap up properly) and at full speed if you are not doing it in practice? Does anyone think this has had an adverse effect on the defense when it comes to transferring what they do in practice to the actual game?
