Do we want a new offense?

Ryan, in his column about putting the Cal win in perspective, had the courage to point out that a change at the Head Coach position could (likely?) mean an entirely new offense.

Not sure I am thrilled about that. Sure, we need to get our running backs healthy and better utilize them. We also need improved run blocking from the O Line.

But, with the skills we have at QB and WR, I really don’t want to go through implementing a whole new offensive scheme.

And, I say that as someone who misses Tailback U.

Feels like hiring a defensive minded, experienced head coach and keeping GH might be worth considering.

Note: Don’t bother arguing a new head coach will want - read insist - on bringing his own staff. I know that.
