Looking back, the guys who are in their 2nd, 3rd and 4th years here should be leading our defense. It's not hard to see why there are issues when you look at the run of bad circumstances/luck the D has had this year regarding all the things that have happened. Really, considering, it's kind of surprising they have fared as well as they have. Look what a huge disappointment the 2015 class has turned out to be. To be a real contender, you probably need 10 to 12 key contributors minimum from this list and I count about 4 to 5 healthy productive guys right now. Hell, even the best true freshman is out hurt.
