I am now 18 days out from a mechanical aortic valve replacement at the Cleveland Clinic. Yes it kicked my ass and yes it does hurt. FYI, my second choice was Vaughn Starnes at USC, and this was after some significant research. I appreciate all the prayers and support alot of which came from the brethren on this site.
Now on to important things. We find ourselves in the thick of it with a south title at our fingertips. That surprise is only eclipsed by the lack of enthusiasm on this board. We actually needed a post telling us all the ways to get to the title game? JUST WIN THE NEXT TWO GAMES! Have we lost our balls?
I am officially on the sunshine pumper wagon with a prediction we are going to win the next 3 games. Attribute it to the medication (which I am weaning myself from) or from the fact that I have been around some time and have been personally involved with many wonderful Trojan victories and folklore. I still remember when someone asked me on this board "Did you really expect us to win?" Well to answer that, I am a Trojan through and through. I expect to win every game we play. When we collectively stop believing that, we have lost what it means to be a Trojan. When you are close to death, your soul knows it. And what came to mind was family, loyalty, and love. And being a Trojan. Call it what you want, but I am offically on the bandwagon which says we are going to win the next three games. Fight On!
