When I caught up with Pac-12 Networks analyst Yogi Roth before Early Signing Day, I made sure to ask about Bru McCoy. Here was Roth's take on the five-star prospect:
"Freak. Amazing. He’s incredible. He’s one of my favorite guys that I’ve been around. Athletically, you just watch him play and he’s special. Incredible ball skills. He’s an incredible young man. He’s got the character of the Michael Pittman Juniors of the group. You’re going to love talking to him. You’re going to love learning about him. A great character guy that’s going to fit in brilliantly with this program and be productive. And he’s not going to have to be the dude Day 1 because of the depth they have, but he’s going to be a No. 1 receiver at this school."
