Hypothesis: West Coast Culture is soft and infected by snowflake syndrome. While this might be OK for flashy skill players...it is a horrible breeding ground for mean & nasty lineman.
USC is at a disadvantage in attracting Midwest/South/Southeast mean & nasty Lineman.
