There is a lot of apparent anxiety about the transfer portal among SC fans on the internet. But is this just an annual reshuffling of deckchairs that does not deserve that level of anxiety? If this is all driven by playing time and NIL, SC can offer plenty of playing time, and if the rumors are true we now have halfway decent NIL for a major program (but not elite). Doesn't that mean we should get our fair share of the pieces we need in the portal? If our NIL is really legit, then we just need to let the portal process playout. Who knows, maybe we end up with a roster that can go better than 6 - 6?
