I think Haden has run the financial ship ashore and USC athletics is for all intents and purposes broke and staring at a huge settlement with Sark among the other buyouts they've had to make over the last 7 years due to the negligent hiring and firing they've engaged in. And now you're seeing them hire on the cheap. The results will be the same. You get what you pay for. USC won't break 8 wins for the next 5-7 years, I suspect.
