We just wrapped up the weekly Sunday media call with Clay Helton and he said he wanted to defer any injury updates until after practice tomorrow, since we're talking to him on a Monday this week as well with the short week before Colorado.
"I'd like to wait till tomorrow. We'll be having practice tomorrow. We're still getting MRIs back on a couple kids and I'd like to just address it all at once and give you all the adequate information and accurate information."
There was nothing especially noteworthy from the call tonight.
Helton sidestepped a question about whether there are any regrets about not playing Markese Stepp and Kenan Christon more sooner, he said that Kana'i Mauga will surely have a larger role in the coming weeks as EA won't be at full strength even if he is available and he said he didn't think anything changed in John Houston's role on Saturday.
