The Chandler, Arizona native played in all 14 games for the Irish as a freshman (5 on defense) and collected 12 tackles plus a fumble recovery. He is a former four-star recruit who eventually picked Notre Dame over TCU, Penn State, Miami, Kansas State and Illinois. He has the pedigree as the son of a Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker and certainly heads to USC with some upside. He mostly played in the box on defense for the Irish but also played some at nickel and both safety spots.
He will have three seasons of remaining eligibility at USC.
