Another freshmen class will soon be notified of acceptance to USC. Over 30,000 applied early to be considered for the highly competitive merit scholarships. My guess is when all the applications were received the number of applicants will be over 52,000.
Last year the admit rate was 17.7%. Number of applicants was 51,925. The freshmen class of fall admits was 2949. SC does not have a wait list.
Admission packets will be mailed priority mail on March 23, 2016. The fortunate recipients will read the special letter that begins with, "Welcome to the Trojan family." Packets are large and contain information on orientation, housing and a reply card. Seniors can check decisions online on March 26,2016
