Sounds interesting. I expect this is just an opening proposal. If it happens, the final deal would probably be one P12-B12 non-conference game per season . . . not two or three. SC won’t give up the rivalry with ND. Utah wants to play BYU. Colorado is required to play Colorado St. Not to mention, everybody wants a cupcake.
There is a possible caveat . . . if both leagues agreed to reduce their conference schedules from nine games to eight games, they could play two P12-B12 non-conference games per season:
