So my buddy and I are thinking of flying out for the USA-Mexico game at the Rose Bowl on October 9.We're also planning to go to the Washington game the night before and potentially a Dodgers playoffs game the day after. Because we'll plan on doing a bit of drinking during the entire trip (back-to-back-to-back sporting events will do that), I'm considering skipping the car rental and just relying on Metro and Uber. I know the schlep to the Rose Bowl from the Gold Line is going to be lengthy, but I've done the walk to Old Town no problem. Am I crazy that I think I can do this without a car?
Also, any advice on where we should stay for easy access to all three? I'm thinking probably DTLA but may also consider Pasadena.
