USC is now 12-6 under Steve Sarkisian. All three home losses were to double-digit underdogs.

USC has now lost consecutive home games in the same season for the first time since 2001.

The Trojans' 12 points were their lowest output since scoring 10 points at Notre Dame in October of 2013. Washington's 17 points were the lowest for a USC opponent in victory since the same game.

USC last scored fewer points at home vs. Washington State in September of 2013 (7 points). This was the fewest the Trojans had scored vs. Washington since 1997.

USC's 6 first-half points were the program's fewest since 2011 (Stanford).

The Trojans ran 68 plays, averaging 6.3 yards during 34 run plays and 3.8 yards in pass plays.

Their streak of 18 games with a first-quarter touchdown was snapped.

USC went 1 of 13 on third downs.

Tonight marked only the fifth start for Cody Kessler (16 of 29) in which he did not throw a touchdown.

His 156 passing yards were his second-lowest total over his last 30 games.

Kessler threw two interceptions for the first time since 2013 vs. Arizona State.

He was sacked five times for the second time this season (Arkansas State).

Washington posted 11 tackles for loss. (USC had three.)

Tre Madden (17 carries, 120 yards) posted his second 100-yard rushing effort of the season.

Ronald Jones II averaged 8.1 yards per carry (his season average coming into the game) and scored a touchdown for the third time in five games.

Adoree' Jackson was held to three yards on three receptions, this after collecting 131 receiving yards on three receptions vs. ASU.

USC held Washington to 299 yards. Since 2001, the Trojans are 68-7 when holding the opponent to less than 300 yards.

Cameron Smith had a career-high 12 tackles, leading the team for the third time this season.

Biggie Marshall had his first career interception.

Myles Gaskin's 134 rushing yards were the most by a USC opponent since Boston College's Tyler Murphy ran for 191 yards last September.

USC committed eight penalties, which was more than its opponent for the fourth consecutive game.
