As you would imagine, I've been asking around and am told the USC staff doesn't know as of Tuesday afternoon if WR Puka Nacua and OT Enokk Vimahi will send in LOIs on Wednesday. Typically (but not always), the coaches know by now who's coming, or likely coming. With Nacua and Vimahi, "they have no idea," a source told me.
That's obviously not a great sign, especially with Nacua already committed. The fact that Nacua is holding an announcement ceremony to reveal a decision again is a yellow flag. I was just made aware of a red one: Sources tell me Nacua does not plan to sign with the Trojans.
Washington is the top contender for Nacua, while Ohio State is Vimahi's other finalist. If I hear anything more on these fronts or others, I'll let you guys know.
