Khaliel Rodgers (ankle) did not practice. Clay Helton said Rodgers was given a PRP injection to "hopefully speed up the healing process." He'll rehab the next couple days and be reevaluated Thursday.
Nico Falah took the first-team reps at center. Viane Talamaivao worked exclusively at center today with the second team.
Jordan Simmons practiced at guard. Bob Connelly said he is their fourth option, behind Damien Mama, Talamaivao and Chris Brown. Connelly really liked Simmons there all along but it was Simmons' decision to switch to defense after the spring.

Osa Masina (hamstring) was limited to individuals.
Leon McQuay (knee) took limited reps in the service team period.
Jonathan Lockett (knee) was out.
Isaac Whitney continues to work on the side.

I didn't notice Tre Madden and Justin Davis get carries in the team periods. This isn't unusual at this point in the season. I seem to remember Buck Allen being handled the same way late last season.
Zach Banner reiterated he has not made a decision yet about whether he will forgo his final season. He said he plans to make a decision within the next couple weeks.

Malik Dorton recorded a sack.
Cody Kessler had a nice pass to Ronald Joness II downfield. Good sign that Jones is being targeted on such a route. Seems like he's earning more trust.
Kevon Seymour had a PBU.
Biggie Marshall had a PBU.

Quinton Powell picked off Kessler on a throw over the middle. Really nice play by Powell.
DeQuan Hampton caught a pass to the deep middle and alertly cut for some extra yards. For being a big guy, he's not slow.
Kessler hits Jalen Greene over the top for a TD. Couple solid throws from Kessler in a row.
Aca'Cedric Ware catches short pass and runs for a nice gain.
