The offense is really something. Lots of misdirection. A ton of new routes for our receivers to learn. Really good use of the pistol. Interior screens. Fake the bubble screen to one side and double move an iso to the other. Some creative jet sweeps that aren’t telegraphed like the ones we run - hello Velus! Some QB option.
Lots to like.
That said. Temper expectations. We will have some games where the offense gets completely stifled. It happened to Tech. It happened to the Cal Bear Raid. It happens to Leach every time he plays UW. Against physical defenses with good sound DBs the offense will struggle.
We need the defense to step up in those occasions.
