Here is my ranking of USC players with portal potential.
Disclaimer: none of this has come from the players themselves (aside from Moss obviously). This is analysis and reasoning -- not reporting that anyone on this list is transferring out. We know there will be a bunch, here is who I think is most likely or at least those I'd be monitoring ...
TIER ONE
QB Miller Moss (already announced)
CB Prophet Brown (walked at senior day)
TE Carson Tabaracci
LB Garrison Madden
RB A'Marion Peterson
TIER TWO (can't rule it out)
WR Ja'Kobi Lane (hopefully not but with how the last month went, ya never know)
LB Raesjon Davis (only if Matt Entz leaves for a HC job, otherwise I think he stays as his dad stated is the plan)
TIER THREE (worth monitoring)
S Anthony Beavers Jr. (he DIDN'T walk at senior day, so that was notable. Could more likely see him leave after spring if he isn't clearly in line for a bigger role)
WR Xavier Jordan (nothing to base this on other than he wasn't close to cracking the rotation this year and not sure if he sees a path to a desired role)
DE DJ Peevy (two lost seasons, doesn't really have a place on the depth chart, but maybe he comes back healthy and surprises)
WR Kyron Hudson (walked at senior day, but his dad told me his parents didn’t even know he was doing that, so it may not mean anything for his future. Not sure yet.)
There will certainly be some transfers I'm not expecting -- there always is.
