We have no problem giving credit when it's due here. Greg Biggins of 247 had a report that JT Daniels fully intends to try to compete for the job with Kedon Slovis this year. Ryan Kartje of the LA Times also just confirmed that as well.
This is no surprise. Wouldn't make sense for him to transfer this year. If he doesn't win the job and is relegated to backup duties, I presume he can grad transfer after next season (I don't know his academic profile) and have the same two seasons of eligibility remaining that he would have if he transferred now and sat out a year.
