Football is pretty basic from a fundamentals standpoint. Be creative on offense (Oregon); play great defense (Alabama); have great special teams (TCU), have a great coaching staff (Ohio State), and push your talented players to the brink. But no; SC's defense is horrible, their play calling is predictable and suspect, and thanks Sarkisian for calling that time out with 8 seconds before the half where Stanford scored a TD.
