Some things i have not seen discussed regarding helton.
1. Helton will need 4 or 5 year contract to be seen as anything more than a year to year guy.
2. Helton will be forced to fire most of his assistants.
3. I dont imagine helton has much pull with any local high school coaches. This is not his own fault. But still he has sold kids and coaches on kiffin,ed o,sark over the last 2 years. I would think most kids and coaches would be very skeptical of anything he has to say.
4. With helton looked at as a holdover from kiffin and sark he will need massive success early to appease everyone fans/boosters/high school coaches/local recruits etc. Need to win the pac 12 year 1 at least.
5. Every year usc is not a playoff level team it costs usc 40-50 million dollars per year. Bama did the numbers from before saban and after saban and he was worth about 50 million per year. I would think usc would be worth that or more with the market usc has.
